LINK Community Transport is seeking volunteers to fill a variety of positions. LINK is a community based organisation that provides transport solutions to people with a disability and frail elderly people in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.
Do you know anybody who is frail or has a disability, which lives at home but has difficulty getting out and about to do their shopping or meeting up with friends? These are the people we help through our community transport and travel training services. With support from LINK’s professional office staff, as a LINK Volunteer Driver, Assistant or Travel Trainer you will go home after every shift with a satisfied smile on your face knowing that you’ve helped make the world a better place. You will meet some amazing people and enjoy the many benefits of being part of a highly professional work team. And you’ll be driving the newest fleet of cars and mini-buses in town, be kitted out with a uniform and receive first class training. You may also take advantage of the many social and recreational opportunities available to LINK Volunteer Team members.
If you are interested in applying for one of the volunteer positions below or would like more information please contact the Volunteer Coordinator on: (03) 8358 8000 firstname.lastname@example.org
