Vehicles for hire through LINK Vehicle Hire include Toyota Hiace mini-buses fitted with hoists for transporting wheelchairs, along with Mazda 6 and Holden Commodore station-wagons. Availability is best on weekends and during school holidays. LINK Vehicle HireWhen not required for our own service provision, such as weekends and during school holidays, our vehicles are available for hire to community groups through a service we refer to as LINK Vehicle Hire.
Our vehicles include 12 seater Toyota Hiace vans, most of which are fitted with hoists and appropriate restraints for transporting people in wheelchairs. When taking one wheelchair, capacity of the vehicle includes driver, plus 6 passengers. Without a wheelchair, capacity is driver plus 11 passengers. We also have two station-wagons (one Mazda 6 and one Commodore Omega) available for weekend hire.
