Australian Red Cross Patient Transport is a service for people who are isolated and have limited transport options to attend essential medical appointments. The peak body for community transport in Victoria is the VCTA. At LINK Community Transport, we are active members and supporters of the VCTA. The VCTA is currently undertaking a project documenting the details of all key community transport providers across Victoria. In addition to the VCTA, the peak body for social services in Victoria, VCOSS takes an active interest in community transport issues, including advocacy for improved community transport within the context of improvements to public and other transport provision.
